This morning one of our reviewers received an unsolicited book, which made her a little grumpy. That the email solicitation was addressed to "Hi there" - and was thus spam - made her - and me - even grumpier.
Unless you want us to write "Received unsolicited book, [Name of Book by Author], via spam. It looked so [boring / silly / weird / etc.] that we couldn't bear to do more than trash it," please do not do that.
